What Koston Has Been up to....

Koston has been a handful to say the least. Just so curious and sneaky at the same time. These are just the few things I caught on camera! At the end of a long day yesterday I had to laugh... I realized that as I was feeding Aislee he was being way too quiet! I went looking for Koston. My bedroom door closed. My bathroom door closed. I could hear him in there. Shower door closed with the little turd inside squirting all of Jordan's shaving cream/gel all over the shower. He just started that can and it was ALL gone. As I was cleaning that up, I turn around to find him spraying himself with Jordan's cologne. Take that away. He runs off. I proceed to clean up and put things out of reach. I apparently wasn't quick enough, he was in the corner with my smelly lotion. He had about 1/2 the tube in his hands and on the floor. So now he smells delightful!! STRONG FUMES! So I wash his hands and look around to see if I can spot anything else he can reach. Looks clear. I scrub the carpets to clean the lotion. What the crap?? How on earth did he get Jordan's "Monkey Butt" Powder? (It's really humid and he's outside all day!) Well the carpet and lots of toys must have been feeling the humidity also. Powder everywhere. Look at Koston trying not to scream, laughing to cover my frustration. He also has a bobby pin sticking out of his ear?? Remove the ear drum weapon from his ear, the powder from his tightly clutched hands. I plop him down at the table with WASHABLE markers and paper so I can pack to go to the park. I finish packing and I'm greeted with a shirtless green and purple son. Face, ears, hands and tummy! (this picture was last time!) Wash his face to make him presentable at the park and somehow- HOW? he finds my biosilk and squirts it in his hands (and floor) and rubs it all over his face. So now his marker masterpiece is smeared and he looks like a human Easter egg with his head dunked in a green cup of Easter egg dye! Laughing Out Loud!! I can't seem to get my 2 year old under control! I love him so much. Times like this I just cherish the moments! We did go to the park... for my sanity!

I haven't been able to upload pics since we have been in Illinois so I'm going to play a little bit of catch up.

We went to Utah for Easter and stayed with Jordan's dad Brian. We faced the cold weather and decided to go camping.... and it snowed! This was Koston's first time actually hunting for Easter Eggs! He wasn't sure what to do at first. Then he gathered a few eggs, losing interest quickly as always. He was loving the snow; not actually touching it with his hands but crunching it under his make shift snow boots. Tennis shoes wrapped in plastic bags, which only lasted until he figured out that they were why he kept landing on his back. He was slipping on the plastic bags that had no grip! He loved going for rides with his "papa" on the quads. I'm pretty sure neither one of my kids cried or had a melt down all weekend. They absolutely love being outside. Snow or no Snow!!

Mothers Day....

Not sure if I'm suppose to focus on how much I LOVE to be a mom OR stay in hiding so I don't get nominated for the "Mother of the Year Award" for how things have been going lately??
Right now Koston looks as though he got into a fight with a neighbor kid. He popped the handle up on the umbrella and it popped him in the lip. It looks horrible! He can't even close his mouth!
A couple weeks ago he fell on his head on the concrete and had a black and blue egg on his forehead.
He gave himself a hair cut with the electric clippers.... took them out, plugged them in, turned them on, and trimmed his freshly cut hair a little more!
Colored his tummy, palms of his hands, cheek, and ear blue with a marker.
Colored my Carpet Green, his chair orange.... I think we're done with markers!!
He can pull himself up on the counter in the bathroom, without a stool. Therefore he uses my makeup. He put on mascara... some actually got on his eyelashes, lipgloss, blush (also used the blush brush on my walls) and bright pink nail polish!

Sometimes I feel like Koston counts for two children! Nope... just one with a bundle of ambition and energy! Aislee was so easy for so long, however since we've been in Illinois she has been very clingy and whiny! I'm sure it's because she only sees me all day.

Ventured to Target yesterday... wearing day old mascara, workout pants from that morning(backwards... figured it out when I got home to jump in the shower), Aislee's bottle/spit up all over my shirt and about 3 day old hair!! The first 5 minutes are fine and then I started getting the looks. Koston attempts to climb out of the back of the cart, hanging over the side with one leg and half of his body out. An employee scolds me and tells me he needs to sit down.... REALLY? Needs to and actually doing so are two different things. I wanted to say "YOU TRY!" We usually get popcorn at the snack bar if we are going to be there awhile. That lasts about 2 minutes until he finds out that if he pours it out into the cart, it falls through the holes and onto the floor....slowly.... leaving a trail. So I'm cleaning up popcorn and look up to find my soda being sucked down as fast as possible because he knows it's off limits. She's crying because she was playing with the straw until he ripped it out of her hand for a refreshing drink of diet coke.
Mind you... this girl has a head turning screech! So if I thought I was being sneaky about the popcorn mess, not anymore! So as people start to slow down, trying not to look Koston starts throwing everything out of the cart (luckily nothing glass-I know better... that goes on the bottom rack!) Now all my soon-to-be belongings are all over the floor joining the popcorn! What do I do, pop him on the butt and scold him and have CPS called on me for beating my child in public because it's caught on tape with a security camera at Target OR, do I try to reason with a 2 yr old? Neither.... I give him fruit snacks! Gold in this case... the mess is quickly cleaned up. Now I only have one crying kid who just wanted the straw to chew on and now wants the package of fruit snacks as well. I Give her an unopened package so she can chew on the wrapper. "MINE" Koston screams and takes them from her. She screams louder!
So then I ask myself, Do I finish or go home? I finish, letting them scream it out. I don't want to come back tomorrow... I don't want to come back ever!
As we head to the front, Koston still trying to escape, the same lady that asked Koston to sit down passes us. She just shakes her head. We proceed to the check out and the girl at the register was the one that was at the snack bar when we got the popcorn. She smiles and asks Koston, "Did you finish all your popcorn sweetie?" I say, "YEP" and smile back!
I absolutely love being a mom and I love my children. Even when we have long days and I want to hide out, not taking Koston to the store...Ever!

Week 4 in Illinois

So sorry it has been so long. We have been busy with all the little things of moving to a new place. We are exploring all the places around us and finding all the fun parks and bike/walking trails. There are several areas to take the kids in the bike trailer, which they love. We usually go on at least one ride a day, sometimes two. Lately it has been really cold and windy so we haven't been outside much. Finally today we went on a walk.... just layered a lot to keep warm. There are lots of parks close, most are also the playground for the school... which means there are always hundreds of school age kids playing on them also. Usually they don't pay attention to Koston, so he gets ran over a lot!
We have several ponds in our neighborhood and apartment complex. There are as many ducks and swans as there are people, maybe more? We feed them almost daily.... some of them are as big as Koston which is kinda scary.... almost been attacked once but he still loves to feed them. We also have a "fit trail" around our apartment complex which is around a pond and has a couple little fishing docks. We go feed the fish from the dock often. Koston absolutely thinks it's so great. The fish are only about 5 inches long. Our neighbor was actually fishing with a real pole. He let Koston hold it and reel the fish in. He loved to hold them. It was so cute!!
Jordan has been doing good with sales this year. It is more challenging than Nebraska was but he is working hard and enjoying being back at work. The days are long while he is gone so we do our best at staying busy! Koston misses him like crazy while he is gone and is always in bed when Jordan gets home from work, but we are surviving. It is beautiful here so we are outside A LOT! We live for Sundays so we can hang out with Jordan ALL day!
Koston is finally going to nursery without us. We are finally biting the bullet and making him cry it out! It has been 4 times and he still absolutely hates it! He starts screaming as soon as we say Amen at the end of the closing prayer in sacrament meeting! He screams and clings onto us... I hate it! I get teary eyed every time! I made Jordan drop him off by himself this week! The nursery leader is wonderful and he went to her crying this week... but at least he walked to her by himself!! That is an improvement!
Aislee is starting to scoot. She has been scooting across the floor and trying to steal all of Koston's toys! He hates it and may have to learn how to share.... or dare I say forced to share his stuff sooner than he would like.

Family Pictures in Thatcher

We just took family pictures in August when Aislee was born but she has changed so much and I didn't want to wait until the Holidays to take them again! So we just used my camera and took them ourselves with my sister-in-law's help! Thanks Laura!! They are not professional but she caught some good ones! These are some of my favorites. Koston was of course good for about 30 seconds and then it was just a battle!! So of course, we bribed him with candy and it still didn't work. So our family pics are just real life with him. We are spending the weekend with Adam and Laura in Thatcher. We only have a few left before we leave again for the summer. We are moving to Chicago for 5-6 months for Jordan's work. We are excited to go again, but sad to leave family and friends. We're certainly not excited for the 28 hour drive with the kids. Thank goodness for movies in the car! Koston is addicted to Alvin and the Chipmunks.... I guess it's a little better than Annie; which was his last favorite. The kids and I plan on flying home for one visit in July sometime. We have a family reunion in Seattle in July that we are hoping to go to and also fly to Arizona while we are over here!

KOSTON is TWO!!

Everyone says time flies... now I believe them.
I cannot believe that he is TWO!! He is such a fun kid and we are loving every moment... well almost every moment. He has been an adventure from day one. I can't say that i loved spending those first 10 days in the NICU before bringing him home. However we were able to cherish every moment because we had no other distractions.
I think he is a typical kid until we are around other kids and he seems to be so HIGH MAINTENENCE?
Oddly, I even enjoy the harder moments... when he wakes up in the middle of the night on vacation screaming so loud he not only wakes us up, but all the dogs in the neighborhood so they can join in on the yelping! Come to find out that we was teething and he had 6 teeth come in that week! Maybe we would have picked another week to go see Grandpa Brian. Thanks Jordan for taking him on a ride up Provo Canyon to fall asleep and have a 4am nap for 2 hours before coming home.

All the cousins were together this weekend and we all went to Thatcher to visit Grandpa Dan! He always has random old cars and trucks so it was fun to take photos with the kids and the cars. Even if they had been playing and had dirty faces and hands! They were loving life!

Rare Moments!!

Very rare moments.... not rare for Jordan to fall asleep anywhere, let alone the couch! However it is very rare for Aislee to fall asleep being held. She likes to be put in bed to sleep, so when this happens we take full advantage of it!! Koston was eating his santa PEZ... every last one before his head hit the floor. He also never falls asleep like this. He RUNS and I mean RUNS all day until his head hits his pillow for a nap or bedtime! I love this kid!

Koston absolutely loved Santa! I never thought that would happen! He was so excited to see him. Santa gave him "five" and Koston wanted to chase him down the aisle of the train. I didn't have the best seat for pictures, but it was so cute! Unfortunately he hated the Santa in the mall on Christmas Eve? Go figure? Maybe it was because Santa was dressed in suspenders and striped socks with some funky Santa suit? Koston along with all his cousins loved the deer farm in Williams. He surprisingly was not scared of the deer at all. He loved feeding them!

I kept telling myself I needed to take my kids to have their pictures taken for Christmas.... it never happened! We snapped a few pics by the tree! Koston loves his little sister... most of the time! She loves to laugh at him. She just watches him run around and gets so excited. I love it!!

We had a Christmas party with friends and decorated cookies with the kids and had a bonfire in our backyard. It was a lot of fun!! We'll be making that a tradition every year! I'm pretty sure Koston ate most of the candy decorations prior to decoration cookies!!

Aislee's Blessing

My beautiful little lady.... I feel like we just blessed her and it has been over 3 months. I don't know where time goes, but here I am playing catch up again?? I tried to upload photos once before but I'm so bad at this and I couldn't figure it out!
We blessed Aislee in our Chandler ward that we miss so much. We are beginning to like our ward in Queen Creek, it has just been hard to get to know anyone when we are gone so much!! We got home from Omaha a couple days before Halloween and blessed Aislee on November 1st. The kids and I flew home and Jordan made the long trek across the country in the car alone with all our stuff!

Life seems to be flying by.... We have been home for a month now and so much has happened. I'll try to play catch-up!! Halloween was so much fun! We have a Halloween party at my brothers house in queen creek. It was much bigger this year and most of the cousins were candy! Probably a little lame for Koston to be an M&M, but I figured i won't be able to pick out his costumes for much longer so I may as well take advantage of it while I can? I made their costumes so they are a little awkward?!? They ended up being adorable though and Koston surprisingly left it on all night. There was a huge turnout this year and this kids loved all the games and the parade!

We also went to a Pumpkin Patch in Omaha before we came home and it was so great! They had all the typical stuff but this place was huge!! There were tons of animals and toys to play on and ride. They also had some huge "jumping pillows", Koston was not so excited about those? We thought he would love them and he hated them. He looks like he's having fun but really he's screaming!! We didn't actually buy a pumpkin because we were leaving that week and they would have been tossed out anyway!

The kids and I flew home with a 3 hour flight and Jordan drove our car full of all our stuff for 24 hours across the country! I was a little worried to fly home with Koston and the Aislee by myself but we had a sweet little lady sitting by us and she helped out so much! The flight out there was a little easier because it was bed time and they both slept! We loved our time in Omaha and I will miss the beautiful green grass everywhere and the huge shade trees. Everyone has perfectly manicured lawns/yards and there was a park down the street that we went to everyday and sometimes twice a day. Another couple that was out there with us had a little boy Koston's age and they loved going to the park together!
The weekend we got home was a busy weekend! Jordans dad, my parents, Koby and Shelby, Chad and Brody all came to join the chaos!! Koby's Birthday was Friday so we had a birthday breakfast and the Halloween party at Justin's house was that night. Saturday was Halloween and Sunday we blessed our sweet baby girl! I cannot believe how big she is getting! My mom made her dress. It was beautiful. She used part of my wedding dress on the slip and I loved it!
We went to Utah for our friend's wedding! It was a beautiful ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple. It was great to be there and remember our own wedding and covenants we made! Jordan's grandma and dad watched the kids! They were rotten the entire time and I'm pretty sure they won't be volunteering to watch them again anytime soon!

We went to Vegas for Thanksgiving to be with my family! It was a really fun and cramped weekend. Adam, Laura and Gavin also went, so my parent's 3 bedroom apartment was pretty full! We did the typical black friday shopping with my mom, Laura, and shelby! We took Aislee so Jordan and Adam could just hang out with the boys! She was such a good and smiley baby!
It has been so fun having a baby in the house again! We are loving it! She is getting big way too fast! She smiles all the time and is such a good baby! I think we deserve it after Koston being so HIGH MAINTENANCE!! We love him and he is so much fun right now, just really high energy/maintenance! He is talking so much and is repeating everything we do and say! Yesterday i found him in my bathroom with the hair wax and flat iron (unplugged) doing his hair! I swear he really is all boy and loves his trucks too!
He has had a rough few weeks! This month he has cut all 4 first molars and one of his bottom laterals! He still has one lateral to go and then I hope we get a break before his "I teeth" come in! He is almost 2 and just getting most of his teeth!

SNoW IN OCTObER

So we woke up to snow this morning!!! Crazy?!? We were expecting snow flurries and got 8-9 inches instead!! Jordan went to work and ended up coming home early. So we just hung out and did a whole lot of nothing! Koston hates it! I took him to the back porch and put his hand in it and he just screamed and said "CODE"!! He is in trouble since we plan on spending a lot of time in Utah in Dec and Jan so Jordan can go snowboarding this year! Hopefully he learns to like it!

Koston's favorite thing to do right now is playing under the kitchen cabinet. There is only garbage bags and dish soap under there so there is plenty of room for him to crawl around. He gets really frustrated when he cannot close the door all the way from the inside becasue his fingers are in it... he just can't seem to figure it out??

Not much new with this little pretty.... just wants to eat every 1 1/2 to 2 hours right now... can you tell? She is getting to be such a chub!! She is losing her hair and it's starting to look like a comb-over. It's time to shave off all the baby hair and let it grow in evenly!

We have enjoyed our time here in Omaha. I am loving the weather and the changing leaves on the trees. There are pine trees and huge shade trees everywhere! It is SO incredibly green here! Koston loves being outside; until these last couple of days we were walking to the park down the street everyday. It is officially cold outside. I believe it was in the 40's today?

My kids... weird... i have two now and it sounds strange every time I say "kids," but they are getting so big. Time seems to go by quicker now that I have two. Is that because I have less free time? Koston is technically not getting much bigger. Still only 22 lbs and wearing 12 month clothing. Some of the pants are getting a little short, but he's too small to wear 18 month clothing. On the other hand Aislee just hit her two month mark and is in 3 month clothing. She is getting so chubby! I love it! She seems to change so much every week. I look back at pictures every few days and I always think her cheeks got chubbier?? She is such a fun baby and smiles ALL the time! I'm sure she doesn't realize it, but i love it all the same! Koston loves her! Always kissing her and wants to hold her all the time. He has been trying to pull her up on his lap lately... a little scary! He hates it when she cries and gives her hugs and says SHHHH with his finger over his mouth?

I was emptying the dishwasher and Koston found a clean beater from the mixer in the dishwasher and handed it to me and said "more"... Everytime he hears the mixer going he comes running and waits patiently to have the beater. He knows he has to be in his highchair with his shirt off!! How horrible am I, that I give my kid the beater loaded full of sugar??? Whatever keeps him occupied… and happy sometimes!!
Jordan is still loving his job, glad that the season is close to over so we can go back home and he can relax and see family and friends, but happy to be here! He loves having the kids here. He is such an incredible dad and Koston absolutely loves him! Jordan doesn't have to go to work until 10-11am or so, which means Koston gets to play with him all morning!!

We went to the county fair last weekend. It was so much bigger than the fair back home. Koston loved it! They had so much fun petting all the animals! There was a huge parade last Saturday morning that seemed to go on forever, he sat completely entertained watching all the horses and screaming for candy!!

So I’ve decided to take the plunge a lot sooner after this pregnancy. I started running a couple miles in the morning before Jordan goes to work so he can stay home with the kids. I’ve also been doing this kick MY butt cardio/muscle building routine in the evenings after the kids go to sleep! WOW… I’m really out of shape! But I’m loving the workout!

Jordan found a rocking horse on springs for Koston at a yard sale a couple weeks ago! Awesome $12 find; keeps him fully entertained…. For about 5 minutes! How we going to get that thing home??

I have officially lived in Omaha Nebraska for a month now. I am actually really liking it here aside from not have a car and missing my family. The weather is great and we are already wearing sweatshirts. Koston cannot go outside much right now because it has been raining the past couple of days and it's too cold. I'm not sure we could ever live where it snows; this boy does not do good indoors all day. I can even take him to the mall or the store and that doesn't cut it.... he has to go outside or it is a LONG day!! Especially now that he has to compete with Aislee for my attention! We were walking to the park every afternoon until this week. I love having two kids. I was really worried that i was going to be a basket case but its not has bad as i imagined. (there are some days...) We have enjoyed getting out of the heat. Jordan has enjoyed his job and it looks like we will be doing this for awhile. Who knows where we will end up next summer and fall. Hopefully somewhere fun so we can get some company. Who wants to come to Nebraska?? We will be here for another month. So we will be here to see all the leaves change, which is unlike home.
So Koston loves doing his own hair. I put Jordan's hair product in it and he helps... only the amount he puts on his fingers is a little more than i put on mine. However he doesn't realize that you only put "Hair product" in your hair. He puts deodorant, lotion, body wash and the cream from PEANUT BUTTER CRACKERS and OREOS in his hair. The other day I was holding him and he smelled like peanut butter?? So later that afternoon I saw him split apart the cracker and proceed to rub the peanut butter in his hair?? No wonder his hair is crusty sometimes?? I love that kids.
We went to the county fair this last weekend. Koston loved seeing and petting all the farm animals. He was not sared at all! There was a HUGE parade saturday morning, way bigger than any at home. They go all out over here.
Aislee is getting so big. She has officially outgrown her newborn clothes and into 3 month clothing at 2 months. She has chunked up faster than I want her to! I hate how fast time is going with her. It seems to be going much quicker than with Koston.
I'm just going to post what we have been up to lately....

Life has been crazy good. We moved out to Omaha to be with Jordan until November. Life is great! It had been way too long with no husband and no "daddy". Koston just might be the happiest boy on the planet to have his dad back. Jordan wakes up with him in the morning (usually between 5-6am!!!) and plays non-stop until he has to go to work at 10:30. Aislee is already getting so big! She might actually be getting rolls.... ok slight chub on her legs!! Maybe?? Her cheeks are filling out and she weighs about 7 1/2 -8 pounds now? We absolutely love having a girl! Koston loves her and loves holding her. Fearful that he will smother her or pull off the couch by her head I cannot leave her anywhere visible when I'm out of the room! She is one tough little cookie.... he likes to help burp her, he thinks it's ok to pat her back whenever he wants because that is what I do.... only not quite so HARD!!

Aislee Mae has arrived!! What a beautiful girl! We are loving every minute of the day and night. Koston is warming up to her and loves to give her "loves" or smothering her as often as we'll let him. He still needs to learn how to be soft but for the most part he ignores her most of the day. It has been lots of fun having a baby in the house again! She was 6lbs 3ozs and 19 1/4 long. Jordan gets to be here for a full 2 weeks and then back to california for work. We will be moving to california to be with him at the end of the month until November! We are excited to be back together as a family of 4 now!!

Today has been our 6th day without Jordan and Koston is missing his daddy!! And of course I am missing my man! He is doing great in Nebraska. When Koston got up from his morning nap before church he was asking for "dada", I almost cried because I was sad Jordan wasn't here. Tonight we used I-chat so Koston could talk to him... SO CUTE! He absolutely loves his dad! He has been walking everywhere... still looks like a drunken sailor, but he is getting better. Next task is getting up by himself in the middle of the floor.
Newest things Koston is doing:
Walking of Course.. about 20 steps at a time
Has his top and bottom two teeth finally, he was 13 months before he even got his bottom teeth
Knows that the Cow says moo... or "booooooo", but he also thinks that the dog, the horse, the zebra and bear say "boooo"
Loves to rough-house
LOVES TO BE OUTSIDE
He loves the water... goes straight to the hose or the faucet as soon as the door opens, cries when i take him out of the tub
Still loves to eat rocks, or chew on them until i make him spit them out
Laughs at himself in the mirror
Discovered his nostrils
Loves Strawberries and streamed broccoli
And much much more... I love this kid! He has more energy than about 5 kids put together and keeps me on my toes! I never imagined being a mom and wife would be this great. I absolutely love it! I'm so excited to have another baby... and scared out of my mind at the same time. Koston is a mama's boy.... BIG TIME! He is going to have one rude awakening. He loves other kids and babies.... unless I'm holding them. I love my family and and look forward to each new day!

Koston's favorite place to be is.... OUTSIDE. Blistering hot or not, he doesn't care. So we made a make-shift sandbox and put it on the back porch. He absolutely loves it. Of course, he is covered with sand and has a diaper full of sand all day, but i'll do just about anything to keep this HIGH-energy kid entertained!

Back after 6 months!!

Well i guess it's been too long. I haven't updated anything for 6 months and so much has happened. Koston is now one and learning to walk. Has long shaggy hair as opposed to his short buzz cut in his last posted photos. Jordan has left me for the summer and moved to Omaha, NE of all places, for work. We are expecting baby number two at the beginning of August. IT'S A GIRL! We really wanted another boy, but after the 3rd ultrasound the tech wasn't changing her mind on it being a daughter, we had to warm up to the idea of having a girl. And we are SO EXCITED we can hardly stand it!! Jordan will fly home for the delivery for a few days and then we will be on our own again for awhile longer. My family has been great and they are all taking turns to come stay with me for awhile after the c-section. We moved to Queen Creek and we are loving it... for the most part. We actually do less driving living out here. I still work one day a week. No signs of toxcemia this time around, so we are still going strong. I feel great this pregnancy compared to last time.

Finally figured out how to sit up....

After a few pretty hard head hits on the floor, my little chunk has figured out how to balance on his bottom and sit up on his own. We have had a couple bonks this week, but he loves being able to sit and entertain himself a little more. I took him to the doctor a couple weeks ago for his 6 months check up and he weighs almost 17 pounds. We can hardly remember him being 4 lbs.

We spent the Labor Day weekend at a friend's cabin in Heber. What a great weekend. The weather was perfect and the company was even better. There was about 12 adults and 16 kids. It was crowded, loud and so much fun! As if it wasn't obvious, we discovered that Koston is allergic to grass. I was trying to get a picture of him sitting his own in the grass; but because he hasn't quite mastered that trick yet, he kept falling face first every 6 seconds. After about 5 tries he had scratches on his face, puffy, red eyes and the need for some benedryl before he sneezed his brains out! Poor Kid... he smiled through it all!

Family Trip to San Diego

Koston took his second long road trip (first to Vegas to see my family). He hated his carseat by the time we got home. We met some good friends in San Diego. They were visiting from North Carolina. So good to see them. They have a 9 month old. We went to the San Diego Zoo.... the kids had zero appreciation, so it was mainly for us adults. We also went to the beach. Again, Koston had no idea and could care less. He hated the frigid water. He is used to the arizona sun-heated pools and warm bath water. He loved the sand. I'm sure he would have eaten a sand pie had I let him. Although Koston is just too young to know what is going on, we had so much fun. We love getting out of town, especially during the summer.

Okay...so I'm not a very good blogger. Although I only work 2 days a week, I can't seem to find the time to play on the computer.

We just got a

MAC and I'm having

a horrible time adjusting to it.

I'm just updating my page with some older photos along with some more recent ones.

We are starting Koston out young as an ASU fan!! Jordan just started his fall semester at ASU and can't wait to take Koston to some of the games.

Look at those fat rolls. Where did those come from? He started out so tiny and now he is a little chunk! But we love it! He is so much fun. He is laughing and grabbing onto everything. We started baby food this week and he loves green beans and carrots; not so fond of the applesauce and peaches. Go Figure?

We go camping a lot and love it. Koston loves to be outside, so he loves camping. We just went to a friend's cabin this weekend for Labor Day. As soon as I download those photos, I'll post them. We had so much fun. The weather was perfect. It makes me wonder why we live in Mesa?? My mom and my younger brother Koby met us in Heber from Vegas. It was such a relaxing weekend.

Koston is now over 9 pounds. We think he is getting so big, until we are around other babies. He is now out of his premie clothes and into the newborn sizes. YEAH!!
Jordan's new favorite outfit is the Jeremy McGrath onsie. He is counting down the time to get him on a motorcycle!! Right now Koston is the youngest of all the cousins. Gavin...Adam and Laura's baby is 4 weeks older and at least twice as big!! Such a cutie!

Koston Lund Bawden joined our family a little earlier than planned; born on February 28th at 5:07pm, weighing 4lbs 2 ounces and 17 inches long. He has a head full of blonde hair... we are not sure where that came from, but he is definately a keeper. He spent 10 days in the NICU because he is so small. He needed to be in a heated bed to help maintain his body temp until he could do it on his own. We were able to stay in the hospital with him the entire time, only being allowed to hold him for 30-45 minutes every 3 hours to feed and change him and then back in his expensive little condo he went until it was time to do it again. That was definately the longest 10 days of our lives and we have never been happier to be home. He is keeping us sleep deprived, busy and happy as ever!
